These bodies of work started off with being around the subject of music and my personal connection to it. Unfortunately, later on in the year, I suffered a great loss in my family, and I began to struggle with finishing my work. I tried to use music to help me with my grief, but unfortunately it did the opposite, and music was ruined for me. Through this, I learned a valuable lesson: you can't cover up your grief with distractions, or there will be consequences. You need to face it because that is really the only way you can heal, especially if you ask God to guide you through it.
